This policy explains how LevelUpSkillz collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website, create an account or purchase a digital product. LevelUpSkillz is a digital-product business operating from Quebec, Canada, and serves customers in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
Information we collect
Account information you provide, such as your email address and password credentials handled by our authentication provider. Purchase information such as the products you bought, the currency and amount, the date, and the status of your order and access entitlements. Technical and usage information generated automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and security or error logs. If you use a free interactive tool and choose to submit your email address, we collect that address and the answers you submitted with it.
Why we need this information
To create and secure your account, to process your purchase, to grant and verify access to the digital products you bought, to generate the temporary secure links used for downloads, to provide customer support, to prevent fraud and abuse, to keep the service reliable, and to meet our accounting, tax and other legal obligations.
Payments and card data
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy. LevelUpSkillz does not receive or store complete payment card numbers. We receive limited transaction information such as confirmation of payment, the amount, the currency and a transaction reference so that we can grant access to your purchase and handle refund requests.
Service providers we use
We use Supabase for account authentication, for storing purchase records and access entitlements, and for private file storage of purchased product files. We use Stripe for payment processing, and hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the website. These providers process information on our behalf and only for the purposes described here.
International processing
Our service providers may store or process information outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States and other countries. Where information is processed outside your jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is held. We select providers that offer contractual and technical protections appropriate to the information involved.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information and we do not rent or trade it. We share information only with the service providers described above, and where disclosure is required to comply with the law, to respond to a valid legal request, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, including investigating fraud, chargebacks or unauthorized use.
Retention
We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists and afterwards for as long as needed for legitimate business, accounting, tax and legal purposes. Technical and security logs are kept for a shorter period. Information submitted through free tools is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was submitted for.
Your privacy rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to optional communications. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply under laws such as Quebec’s Law 25, Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU or UK GDPR, or state privacy laws. Requests are handled manually by email; the site does not currently offer automated self-serve export or deletion. We may need to verify your identity, and some information must be retained where the law requires it. To make a request, write to privacy@getlevelupskillz.com.
Security and contact
Purchased files are held in private storage and are delivered only through short-lived secure links tied to a verified purchase. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have a privacy question or complaint, contact privacy@getlevelupskillz.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the privacy authority in your jurisdiction.
